Who I Am

I'm a developer at Parthenon Software Group. My friends describe me as down to earth, a good listener, well rounded, and very detailed. I like to see how things work and often take things apart simply out of curiosity. I have a full time job that I am proud of and a very supportive family. I love technology and gadgets, I'm always trying to find new ways to make someones life easier and more simple with new technologies.

I tend to gravitate towards Python, PHP, and Java languages and a few in Ruby. All of which you can fork or participate with me on github.

I love how music can shape my mood and it's what gets me through the day at work. My MP3 player is usually loaded with Gym Class Heros, Nelly Furtado, Meiko, Bjorn, The Shins, Dave Matthews Band, Mazzy Star, Garbage, coldplay or Death Cab for Cutie.

Along with music, I love movies with a good story line and possibly a twist to keep you guessing... A few favs are: Office Space, Lucky Number Slevin, Pay it Forward, Walk the Line, Derailed, AntiTrust, 8MM, Lucky Seven, Shop Girl, Bookies, The Sixth Sense, 11:14, Serendipity and Sweet November.

I'd tell you my favorite author but, I really can't get involved in a book... I've tried many times but my mind ends up wandering and I start thinking about other stuff. I pretty much get through a couple pages and then end up having to re-read it all over cause I just wasn't paying attention... So, I've decided it's not for me...
